This catalog represents a portion of my body of work. Mediums included in this group focus mostly on painting, with some drawing, and mixed media that combines the aforementioned with materials like wood, plaster, vinyl, paper, organic matter, and others.
The tendency to perceive a specific, often meaningful image in a random or ambiguous visual pattern. The scientific explanation for some people is pareidolia, or the human ability to see shapes or make pictures out of randomness. Think of the Rorschach inkblot test.+
An intimate abstract series based in hues of deep green and blue, like a deep abyss. Moments of bold saturated tones often erupt across the canvas or trickle-down like rain. An ongoing series and exploration into myself, my forgotten self, my lost self, hoping to reconnect within.+

The Manhattan Beach Pier is located just south of Los Angeles, CA. Close to LAX, but seemingly a lifetime away. This beach, along with many others along the Pacific Coast Highway, are where the heart and soul of Southern California live. It's no wonder why so many songs and movies+
