The zipped file folder below contains 5 different color options. I’ve decided to only create the one size as of right now. However, I am more than happy to make any size for your device if need be, you just have to send me a message to request it and poof it will be done.
If you have any issue downloading or accessing please let me know.

“Chaos is the science of surprises, of the nonlinear and the unpredictable. It teaches us to expect the unexpected.”
One of the main principles of Chaos is The Butterfly Effect. For example, a butterfly flapping its wings in New Mexico grants the power to cause a hurricane in China. It may take a very long time, but the connection is real. If the butterfly had not flapped its wings at just the right point in space/time, the hurricane would not have happened. A more rigorous way to express this is that small changes in the initial conditions lead to drastic changes in the results.
Our lives are an ongoing demonstration of this principle.
Thinking about all the what-ifs and maybes can drive a person insane. It’s hard not to sometimes, just thinking about what could have been, what should have been, and what you’re glad never was. Alternate realities play out in our minds. I’m sure everyone at some point or another wonders if one certain thing had or hadn’t happened…. would my life still be the same? Would I be me? I know this takes the science and breaks it into some melodramatic movie plot, but it’s just how I’m contextualizing it. Also, to go with naming the colorways mostly with mineral/earthy type names feels like a bridge between science and humanity. Or maybe I’m just turning hippie-dippie. 😛
U. S. of A. is of course inspired by the traditional elements of our nation’s birthday. The colors of our flag, slightly modified for screen legibility, and artistic interpretation of course.
RED HOT PICNIC is exactly what it sounds like. Hot picnics or BBQ cook-outs with red and white checkered table cloths and solo party cups full of cherry cola or root beer. Hamburgers and hot dogs on buns with ketchup and mustard. Yah that’s what I was going for.
FIREWORKS, well, I’m going to guess that has to do with a Katy Perry song or something. I consider this one my version of the “dark” mode or theme. I feel like it’s easier on my eyes when staring at my phone screen for too long.
In case you missed my blog on pride this year and schooling the children a little bit about the HERStory… well, you should check it out. It’s nothing major just a little BRIEF history of Stonewall. Of course which is not the first act in the gay rights movement. But nonetheless, it’s 50th anniversary is upon us, which is a pretty big deal.
APRIL – MAY 2019
Stripes are back! This month I revisited the stripes I designed last fall, but now they’re bright and ready for summer with an ombre twist. I was inspired while visiting Miami last month and totally floored when I saw stripes plastered across the new highrise Equinox Brickell Heights in Brickell (It’s so new when you visit google maps it’s still a hole in the ground, though pan in and you can see it on street view). I had already just begun with the idea of adding the ombre effect to them. Naturally, I couldn’t believe what I was seeing, but I took it as a sign that I was on the right path.

Apple Watch Kaleidoscope
+ iPhone Effects
I made this quick video spot to illustrate some of the fun options available to those using the wallpapers on their Apple Watch. Select the Kaleidoscope customization and then really the options are endless from there, the stripes keep moving constantly, it’s almost hypnotic.
Also, to note for the iPhone users, if you leave the perspective zoom or parallax effect on the stripes will move with your phone and create a motion effect that is kind of cool. However, if this leaves you feeling a bit sea sick or you just want to save battery life, you can disable it and they’ll stay put.
DECEMBER – JANUARY 2019
Winter edition of wallpapers are here! I know some might be hard on the legibility factor, so they may be limited to just locked screens, but I’m crazy and use them for all of them. Happy Holidays!
OCTOBER – NOVEMBER 2018
Fall is here, officially! The leaves are changing and the days are getting shorter and colder. Naturally, I drew inspiration from all the amazing colors the leaves turn this time of year. However, I added my own twist by including some unexpected colors to pop. It’s a less “traditional” take on the normal seasonal deeper gem tones, to keep it fresh and modern.
7 different striped colorways. Don’t get vertigo!
Blueberry Jam – you’ll want to rotate 180 degrees otherwise the top line makes it really difficult to read the time/battery/signal bar on your phone.
Huckleberry – this one is great if you’re like me and don’t clear your notification badges, it has a lot of red in the upper right corner to distract the eye and camouflage them. Put apps you get more notifications toward that corner.
Should for some reason any of the files not work, be incorrectly sized, or whatever; please let me know and I will fix them. Also, if there’s a size that’s not listed that you want, please let me know! It actually takes a decent amount of time to do these and since I don’t have X or an iPad Pro or a Surface, I didn’t make those options, but I’m happy to.
Save a copy ⤼ to your photo roll on your device. Then to set wallpaper follow this path:
Settings > Wallpaper > Choose a New Wallpaper > All Photos > (it should be the last photo added) > Click it > BAM! Done… ‘Set’ if you’re ready > Unless you decide that one wasn’t the one you wanted, then hit ‘Cancel’ and start over.
Then chose the Lock, Home, or Both. If you start with the correct format for your device you shouldn’t have to scale or crop it.
Beats me! lol. Sorry. I’ll look into it, one day…
The designs with more variation are better for the Lock screen and the vertical stripes are better for the Home screen. But it’s your phone, not mine.
