Figurative Work

P R E F A C E

I’m often interested in human nature and psychology, in our emotional vulnerabilities, and what is reflected in society.

In this new day + age, we are at the precipice that divides humanity and technology, a era of lightning speed to which we must adapt or become obsolete.

Zombies, Androids, Cyborgs… science fiction is now fact, our new reality, into hyperreality.

Pop political trending tags like race, religion, gender + sexuality often punctuate the headlines. A circus, a dog and pony show, but who is watching?

I wish to explore ways to find ourselves in a world less hateful, a time to feel less shameful and scared. We are all people, flesh and blood. We are all pink on the inside.

The spectrum of our species is wide and beautiful. Let us learn to respect everyone, especially those unique souls less acknowledged and often cast aside. Bring light to those who know too much about fear of fellow man.

Pull your focus away from your screen for just a moment and just be. Together.
