A large square canvas composed of pink and peach in between earthy clay and copper, warm taupes and greys, and natural minerals. Large vertical brush strokes bleed and gush plum paint that drips all the way to the bottom. A few splatters of buttery yellow and a dusting of charcoal add texture and turmoil.
A game of tug of war; acrylic paint with ink and charcoal are used to express emotion. They play out the inner workings of intimate connections, the struggle to maintain them, and to lose them.
